1. Controller

We process only the data needed to run this website and to answer your request. We use no ad tracking and no tracking cookies.

2. Hosting and server logs

The website runs on Vercel Inc., USA. When you open a page, Vercel processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the requested address, referrer and browser identifier.

The purpose is to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. Vercel's security system may set a technically necessary cookie for this. For visitors in the EU the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation.

3. Contact form and email

When you write to us through the form or by email, we process:

  • name and email address
  • company and message, if you provide them
  • the page the request came from, the time, and campaign parameters from the link (UTM), if present

We store the request in a database at Neon Inc., USA, running in the AWS region us-east-1. The notification to us and the confirmation to you are sent through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), USA, region us-east-1.

The purpose is to handle your request. For visitors in the EU the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request aims at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep the data until the request is fully handled. If a business relationship follows, statutory retention periods apply.

4. Analytics with Umami

We measure website usage with Umami Cloud by Umami Software, Inc., USA. Umami sets no cookies and builds no personal user profiles. We see only aggregated figures such as page views, referring site, device type and country.

5. Fonts

All fonts are served from our own server. Opening a page makes no connection to a third-party font service.

6. User accounts in the tools area

Some older tools on this website let you create a user account. For that we process your email address and sign-in data through Neon Inc., USA. We delete the account on request.

7. Transfers to the USA

We and all providers named here are based in the USA. For data from the EU, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR).
